Board Members
Our board of directors is composed of 7 directors. The Board of Directors participates in Management Committees, together with the general manager and managers. These Committees monitor the management of the cooperative.
Siria Jeldes Chang
President
Assumed the presidency of the Board of Directors in 2015. She was distinguished as one of the 10 most influential CEOs
in Latin America and has stood out three times among the 100 women leaders in the country. She is president of the Cooperative Forum, a union organization that brings together the main cooperatives in the country. She is a member of the board of directors of Cooperatives of the Americas (ACI) and is also president of Fundación Coopeuch board of directors. She also heads the National Association of Cooperatives of Chile, an organization created in 2018 that seeks to rep resent the national cooperative that seeks to represent the national cooperative sector in front of different actors and public, private and social entities. During the year 2018 she became part of the working table of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC).
Andrés Reinstein Álvarez
Vice president
Economist and MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a partner of BL Capital and companies director.
Previously he was a partner of Econsult Capital, partner at Zahler & Co., International Analysis manager of the Central Bank of Chile, integrating the Monetary Policy Committee, and part of the Derivative Products team of the Chase Manhattan Bank in Chile. He has been a finance professor at the Faculties of Economics of the University of Chile and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Sergio Zúñiga Astudillo
Secretary
Auditor Accountant, Diplomaed in Financial Administration and Pension Systems.
He works at the Universidad de Chile as Chief Budget Officer and Head of the Staff Remuneration Unit of that house of studies. It has also integrated the Credit Committee and the Coopeuch Supervisory Board.
Carlos González Cáceres
Director
Commercial Engineer, Accountant Auditor and and Bachelor of Economic Sciences from the University of Chile.
He has extensive experience in financial systems, performing supervisory, consulting and management functions in Chile and Latin America. He served as Coopeuch´s Risk Manager. Independent consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank-IDB- and the World Bank on supervision and risks. He is president of the company Agroleasing S.A. and participates in the consulting firms CGC consultorías y Analytics & Collections.
Claudia Escobar Godoy
Director
Commercial Engineer and MBA from the Adolfo Ibáñez University,
with several diplomas: Corporate Governance from the Catholic University, Management Development, Leadership and Team Management from the Adolfo Ibáñez University, Tax Planning from the Development University. She has 23 years of experience in the financial system and is a founding partner of the Network of Women in Senior Management: RedMad. She currently works as an independent entrepreneur and is a consultant in the engineering area and in electrical energy management, in addition to supporting the development of new businesses. He also teaches courses in the areas of economics and business, in undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Pedro del Campo Toledo
Director
He is the General Manager of the industrial group GGH, he is also director in Learning Class, in Project Development Communication and chairman of the board of the Fundación Diálogo Sustentable.
Katia Trusich Ortiz
Director
Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile and MBI from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
She currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Shopping Centers and is part of the board of the Coopeuch Foundation. She was Manager of Corporate Affairs of the CGE Group and between 2014 and 2016 was Deputy secretary of Economy, where her focus was the budget management of its dependent services and legislative management. She was also CEO of the Fishing Company Yelcho S.A., a subsidiary of Norway AKER RGI, where he was in charge of developing fishing investment projects of the group in Chile.
